Belgian Warmblood Foal Auction was organized for the first time in 2000. Our goal is the sell foals selected on the basis of performances both along the sire and along the dam’s side.

The importance of the direct dam-line is often underestimated in the contemporary breeding. Looking after everybody’s interests is our motto, keeping our clients as well as our vendors happy. Quality is our basis.

The BWFA team leaves nothing to the chance: by means of a clinical vet check we can guarantee you a healthy foal.
After 6 succeeded editions we can say that this event is a success. In our file page you will find an overview of the performances of foals sold on previous editions.
We are well aware of the fact that the number of auctions has increased enormously over the last years.
But the Belgian Warmblood Foal Auction makes the difference by putting quality first in the selection of the foals as well as in the event itself where we try to create a pleasant atmosphere for both amateur and professional.

Plaats: Lochristi / Beervelde

Lochristi is een zeer bloeiende gemeente met een internationale reputatie, centraal gelegen in Vlaanderen, en zeer goed bereikbaar vanuit binnen- en buitenland, aan het kruispunt van de autowegen E17 en R4 op slechts 10 minuten van Gent-centrum en op amper 30 minuutjes van Brussel, Kortrijk, Antwerpen en Rijsel.

Lochristi heeft een belangrijke concentratie van zowel regionale, nationale als internationale ondernemingen en industrie, bovendien het mekka van de Sierteelt.

Waar: domein d' Heyboght

Stoeterij d’ Heyboght is gelegen in een oase van rust, en sedert jaren gastheer van zowel nationale als Internationale jumpings waar steeds een zeer talrijk publiek op afkomt. De organisatie beschikt over de nodige know-how om een geslaagd evenement te organiseren.

Het domein beschikt over een totaal nieuw aangelegde piste. Een combinatie van gras- en all-weatherbodem zorgt ervoor dat het evenement in de meest optimale omstandigheden kan doorgaan.

Vlot bereikbaar, parkeergelegenheid voor 250 vrachtwagens, 1.200 personenwagens en een terrein waar 360 paarden kunnen gestald worden gedurende het concours.
