The first day of Flanders Horse Event ended with the class for seven-year-old horses: the Joris De Brabander Prize.


The first place was for Dirk Demeersman and his Belgian Warmblood mare Little-Billy. Dirk performed a double clear in an unbeatable 28.95 sec. time in the second phase.  Nathan Bud and his Holsteiner stallion by Casall, Cashpaid J&F, obtained the second place after a clear round in 30.29 sec.  The third place was for the French rider Guillaume Roland Billecart and Diacan PS (s. Diarado) – clear in 30.50 sec.


Dirk Demeersman also received a 500€ BWFA voucher from the hands of Christophe De Brabander.


Tomorrow’s first class, a 1m10 CSI1*, will start at 8 am.
