We started the day with the CSI3* classes for six- and seven-year-old-horses. In the Van de Heffinck & Alonco Prize, Virginie Thonon and her Calido I x Kaioka del Follee mare Corsica de Greenbay Z took the victory after a clear round in 54.18 sec. The top three was entirely Belgian, with Bjorn Vandenbossche and Ascaina Z (Asca Z x Caretano Z) in second place after a clear in 57.52 sec. and Caroline De Laet in third position after a clear in 58.58 sec. with her Belgian Warmbloodstallion Medoc de Toxandria.


In the class for seven-year-old horses, the De Brabander Prize, the victory went to Columbian rider Mark Bluman who rode a clear round in 54.60 sec. with Bolero d’Armanville (Lauterbach x Diamant de Semilly). Caroline De Laet and Sienna van de Celiebrug Z (Spartacus TN) obtained the second place after a clear round in 55.83 seconds. The Irish rider Roger Mccrea obtained the third place with Bigstar Derick (Popstar Lozonais) after a clear round in a 56.82 sec. time.


Virginie and Martin both received a 500€ voucher for tomorrow’s BWFA auction.
